I Wonder...

So lately I wonder why things happen the way they do. I know that Heavenly Father has a part in it but why do others choose to live their life the way they do?

A couple of my what were friends in highschool are getting married and having babies. Well one is not married, 19 and having a baby and the other is 18 and was prego when she got married.

I wonder, what are these girls thinking?

The one who just married comes from an LDS family and went inactive about the time I was baptized, two years ago. It is so sad to me! What wonderful blessings her new family will miss out on. I feel for her family, she is the youngest of 5 girls, 3 of which have been married and sealed in the temple and have babies and one who is doing good for herself in other ways.

I wonder, do they know how hard marriage is with just the two of you?

Now I know that some couples don't face the challenges we have but it is still hard. You are figuring out life and eachother. Why does a baby need to be in that mix?

I also wonder why the couples (like us) who want children so badly cannot have them but these young teenagers that know nothing about life can. I know I am not much older but my life has been very different from theirs and I was forced to grow up and take care of myself at a young age.

I just pray for these girls and their boyfriends or husbands or whatever they are. I pray that they will be able to take care of these sweet babies that they have been blessed with and not resent them because they don't get to experience life or marriage before they arrive.

We are firm believers in Heavenly Father blessing us with Children when he knows we are ready but we also want to be financially stable and have some schooling done in order to take care of one of his children.

Heavenly Father has a wonderful plan for each one of us and I just hope that these girls can see that and do what is right for themselves and their children.

Okay, I'm done now. Sorry. That has been bothering me soooo much!

Spring Time Fun!

Tonight we babysat for a family who is in our ward and lives in the same complex as us.
We spend a lot of time with these kiddos!
We ate pizza. played at the park and took a nice long walk while enjoying the beautiful weather!
Their oldest, Cameron, is in our primary class.
Little Ewan likes to eat his pizza backwards

This is little sweetheart Heather!

In our complex we have a little park that is nice to play at! Here are some pics!

There are beautiful flowers and trees all over this time of year and I LOVE it!

Cameron, Ewan and Heather love Spencer! It is like I don't exist as soon as he arrives. Spencer had to work late so he met up with us as we walked home.

Last but, not least is Cameron wearing Spencer's hat! He loves it and takes it as soon as he can get his hands on it.

We are very grateful to have these kiddos and their parents in our lives. They bring us SO much FUN and JOY!

Cedar Ann Jensen

Here is the adorable new addition to the Jensen Family!

Cedar Ann Jensen

Born @ 3:53 am

Weight: 6lbs. 14oz.
Height: 19in.

Another baby for me to love until I can finally have one of my own!

Some Tanner Time!

So, the past two days I have spent with Tanner.

Tanner is Spencer's Nephew and his mommy and daddy were at the hospital having his little sister Cedar Ann (another post about her... coming soon!)
He loves to play with Legos and watch Winnie the Pooh and Clifford the BIG red dog.

When we got up this morning I told Tanner that his mommy (Annie) had his little Sister Cedar. I asked if he wanted to go and see her and he said "No."
Not to long after Tanner went over and sat in his carseat and I asked "what are you doing, do you want to go somewhere?"
"Yes!" he loudly replied.
"Where do you want to go Tanner?"
"To the doctor store"
"Why do you wanna go to the doctor store? Is it because you have a new sister there?"
"No, I wanna go to the mommy store, not the Doctor store!"
Well long story short we ended up going to the Doctor Store (hospital) to see baby Cedar.
I had a cute video of this conversation but it won't post.

I had a lot of fun with tanner!

Okay, I was wrong!

I have to say that I am sorry to Spencer for posting that last blog. I really am kind of a dork and thought that yesterday was Wednesday the 9th not Tuesday the 8th. Long story short...

He was still being kinda sneaky but he bought pizza for some kids, that stayed after at work with him, so they wouldn't starve. This was last night and I thought that yesterday was really today. I was a day ahead.

He did bring me some.... A whole pizza.... my bad.... maybe he isn't a piggy!

He still knows that he isn't as slick as he thinks he is though. I just had to add that since I was wrong.

So I hope that you got a laugh out of the last post but just know that I was wrong. Take this as a lesson that you should always check the date twice before you try and catch them being sneaky!

He thought he was SO Slick! Busted!

So after a night of babysitting for one of my regular families I came home and started budgeting for the next couple of weeks.

I checked my e-mail and had one from Bank of America stating that I had made a transaction with Pizza Hut last night. My brain was a little boggled by this since I was not home and surely did not have pizza for dinner. I thought hmm how could this be, maybe my card was stolen. I thought of the last time we got pizza and said to myself that it couldn't have taken that long to go through, oh wait we ordered Domino's last, nevermind it definitely wasn't that.

Then it dawned on me, My sweet husband was left home all alone last night as I was gone for the night and I did not make dinner.

I gave him a ring on the tele and asked if he had eaten pizza lately and I could instantly hear the ear to ear smile on the other side. He asked me what I was talking about and I mentioned the e-mail and the transaction. He still tried to play dumb by saying "what do you mean?" My response went like this " Well what I mean is I think that last night my Hubby ordered pizza hut, didn't tell me and then walked outside and threw the boxes into the dumpster so I would never know."

He finally admited to his somewhat smooth moves. He told me he thought about using cash so I would really never know but didn't have any on him so he could only use debit.

The thing that really boggles my mind is why he felt the need to hide it. I love pizza too! Did he not want to share or was it that he didn't want to look like a little piggy eating two pizzas (Yes TWO) all to himself?

I am not really sure but I love how he thought he was so smooth and that I would never find out and got caught! It makes me laugh!

In Love!

I am SO in love with this sweet baby girl!

Valerie is my niece and she will be turning one this month.
I have my nieces and nephew over everyone once and a while to stay the night and she sleeps in our bed. When she first gets here she is scared of Spence but as you can see she becomes pretty comfortable with him. I ask Spence " Does she make you want a baby?" His response "She makes me want the money to afford a baby." HE HAS BABY FEVER WHEN SHE IS AROUND! I cannot wait to have these sweet moments with our babies!
Well I just had to tell you how in love I am with this cutie!

Just for Julie!

Look how cute our Little Ollie is! Spence says he snuggles with his bestfriends quite often. We know how much you love the teddies so we thought you would like this!
